Everything we do flows to and from the public worship of God.
Here are some of the other ways that you can get involved with congregational life and ministry at Westminster.
Our Sunday School ministry seeks to instill Christians of all ages with an ardent love for the Lord Jesus and equip them for godly living. Come and receive a rich fare designed to communicate truth for life. Sunday School classes currently available include: Ages 3-5; Elementary; and Adult. All classes meet at 9:30 A.M.
STUDIES & FELLOWSHIP
As an additional layer of discipleship, we provide various other studies throughout the week. Currently, we offer the following opportunities for study and fellowship:
INQUIRERS CLASS. An “Inquirers Class” is held several times a year for those who are interested in studying the basic Truths of Christianity. This 10-week course will prepare you to confess Christ and join Westminster Presbyterian Church, if you desire. However, attendance in no way obligates you to join the church. The class meets Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. in the Library. For questions or more information please contact the Session at email@example.com.
COFFEE WITH CALVIN. ““What does it mean to be a Calvinist?” Each Tuesday morning a group of men meet at the church from 6:30 until 8:00 A.M to answer that question by studying John Calvin’s seminal work, The Institutes of the Christian Religion. The study is for men of all ages in all walks of life. Please come and enjoy bold coffee and bold theology!
WEDNESDAY NIGHT SMALL GROUP. Both men and women are invited to attend this small group Bible study and fellowship at 7 P.M. in the Fellowship Hall. The current study is Paul David Tripp’s book, “Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands” of which the focus is “people in need of change helping people in need of change.”
MEN'S MONTHLY BREAKFAST. Come and enjoy a men’s fellowship breakfast on the first Saturday of the month at 8:00 AM. We will begin a new study on June 1 entitled “Redemption: Accomplished and Applied” by John Murray.
LADIES EVENING BIBLE STUDY. The Ladies Evening Bible Study meets at 7 P.M. on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. A new study entitled “Lessons from the Upper Room” by Sinclair Ferguson begins Tuesday, November 5th in the Fellowship Hall. Please join us! Contact Barbara Vertz at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Committees provide Westminster's members opportunities to utilize their gifts and passions in the work and ministry of the church.
