All Saints was birthed in response to the desperate need for the gospel in St. George and Southwest Utah. The St. George metro area is home to nearly 200,000 souls and the area has been ranked in the top five fastest growing areas in the United States. 70% of the residents of the St. George area are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. 22% have no religious affiliation. 4.5% of the population is Roman Catholic. Bahrain, Cuba, Malaysia, Qatar, and Sudan all have more protestants per-person than Southwest Utah. There is no confessional reformed presence in Southwest Utah

In 2019, Pastor Ben traveled to the area and found the scarcity of churches saddening. This sadness led to an increasing burden to see an orthodox, reformed, and evangelical church established in the area. He shared his findings and thoughts about the need in St. George with some trusted friends, colleagues, and leaders who affirmed the need for a church. Some of those friends felt the Lord calling them to share with Pastor Ben in this important work. After much time, consideration, and prayer, the All Saints team was formed.

Pastor Ben Kappers is a native of Hingham, Wisconsin and is married to his wife of fifteen years, Melanie. Pastor Ben and Melanie have six children: Caleb, Grace, Anna, Drew, Luke, and Elizabeth.
