Bill has been a member at WPC for 8 years and was elected as an elder in 2018. He serves as the Chairman of the Security Committee, and Chairman of the Missions Committee at WPC. Bill has a lengthy career history in law enforcement and the security industry. He founded Bill Cheek and Associates in 2001, where he works as a Security Consultant. He earned a BS in Criminology at Florida State University and a MS in Community Development at the University of Louisville. He has served as Co-Founder and on the Board of Directors of First Coast Crime Stoppers, on the Advisory Board and as Chair of the Board of Alumni and Friends of the College of Criminology at FSU, the International Association of Chiefs of Police on the Crime Prevention Committee and as Vice-Chair, and on the Republican Executive Committee as a Committeeman.
Art Fox, Ruling Elder
Art has been a member of WPC for 34 years where he has served as an elder for the past 12 years. In addition to his session work, Art has served as adult Sunday school teacher, small group leader, and president of WPC’s not-for-profit corporation. He received his BSME from the University of Florida and worked for Trane Company for 35 years. He has been retired for 12 years. Art is currently a board member and Facilities Director for the International Learning Center. He has served as a member of the North Florida Presbytery’s Christian Education committee for 3 years and is currently serving on the Credentials Committee. He has been active in the PCA General Assembly, serving on the Overture Committee, and was recently elected to the Board of Directors for Ridge Haven.
Bob Jadwin, Ruling Elder
Bob has been a member of WPC for the past 6 years was elected as an elder in 2018. In addition to his duties as an elder he teaches the Wednesday evening Small Group study and manages the Men’s Fellowship Breakfast meetings. Bob is retired from Sinclair Oil where he was a Chemist in Chicago’s Research Lab. He was also the previous owner of several small businesses including a restaurant. A licensed commercial pilot, he built an experimental aircraft. He earned a BS degree in Chemistry from Florida State University and attended Covenant Seminary (PCA) in St. Louis, MO. Bob has been involved in church planting both in and outside of the U.S. and has previously served as an elder at churches in St. Louis and in Jacksonville. In Haines City, FL he served as both Mayor and as President of the local Chamber of Commerce.
Bob Moore, Ruling Elder
Bob has been a member at WPC for 12 years and has served as an elder for 11 years. He was previously a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Palm Bay, FL. Bob received a BS in physics from the University of Oklahoma and an MS and PhD in physics from the University of Illinois. He obtained an MBA from Florida Institute of Technology, and he currently works in the field of information technology for a large health insurance company. Bob is currently the Clerk of Session for WPC, serves on the Mission to the World Committee for the North Florida Presbytery. In addition, Bob served as the moderator for the North Florida Presbytery in 2018, and is currently active in teaching the adult Sunday School and helping to lead the Wednesday evening fellowship at WPC.
