Stephen Spinnenweber Elected WPC's New Senior Pastor

Westminster Presbyterian Church is pleased to announce that Stephen Spinnenweber has been elected to serve as the church’s new senior pastor. Upon completing its work, the Pulpit Search Committee presented the nomination of Stephen to the congregation who voted in favor of calling him as their next pastor, pending his ordination and graduation in May.

Stephen was born to believing parents in Pasadena, Maryland, and by God’s grace, came to saving faith as a child. Stephen met his wife-to-be, Sarah, in high school and the two tied the knot after their sophomore year of college. The Spinnenwebers then moved to Salisbury, Maryland, where they finished their undergraduate studies before relocating to Greenville, South Carolina in 2015 where Stephen pursued his MDiv at Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

While in seminary the Spinnenwebers welcomed their first child, Reid, and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their second, a little girl, due in June 2019. Stephen is currently licensed by the North Florida Presbytery, served as a pastoral intern at Westminster over the last year, as well as filled the morning pulpit since August 2018.

This is an exciting time in the life of our church and we look forward to what the Lord will continue to do both in and through this body of believers. Please join us in congratulating Stephen in his new role and in praying for he and his family. Soli Deo Gloria!
